With the simple yet pre-eminent decor, Gin Sai delivers a contemporary Kyoto feel with a well-balanced play of muted palette of dark browns. From the Japanese Kyoto embroidery door of the 16-seat room to the tableware sourced from different parts of Japan, these all exhibit excellent attention to details, the distinctive characteristic of Gin Sai.
Headed by Chef Ogawa, Gin Sai serves premium Japanese cooked food. It brings to the table Seiromushi - the traditional steaming of the freshest fine ingredients such as Wagyu beef, fresh seafood, Kurobuta pork and seasonal vegetables, without any seasoning. It forms a healthy mix of textures and flavours that are subtle and delicate.
The light, crispy and delicate tempura, robatayaki, oden, sukiyaki, claypot rice by our skillful chefs are also must-have. To round off the delectable meal, an array of delicious French-Japanese desserts which are made freshly daily is not to be missed!
The restaurant contains seating for 80 guests, including four comfortably decorated VIP rooms for 16 to 24 persons, ideal for corporate gathering or gastronomic party. In the main dining area the bar counter offer 12 seats which allows diners to feast their eyes on the inimitable and meticulous cooking skills of the chef in preparing tempura and oden.
