Wagyu Kaiseki Den is an exclusive high-end Japanese restaurant that specialises in exquisite Kaiseki cuisine. It is the first Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong to earn a Michelin star and yet it has earned this award six times (2010-15) in consecutive years. Serving haute Japanese cuisine, Wagyu Kaiseki Den is set in a decor with a dark tone. The inventive open kitchen is equipped with the first ever individual bronze refrigerated lockers marked with tycoon names for storing top grade Wagyu beef from Japan for customers. Diners are treated to a demonstration of Chief Executive Chef Hiroyuki Saotome’s skills honed for over 30 years from front-row seats. The omakase menu is in the traditional Kaiseki style but with unique personal touches from Chief Executive Chef Hiroyuki Saotome. Each dish is meticulously prepared, paying attention to the finest of detail by using only the freshest ingredients according to the changing seasons. Famous dishes that will delight the senses include Sea Urchin Truffle Rice which gives the natural aroma of black truffle that no one can resist and the delicious succulent Charcoal Grilled Wagyu Beef.
