BERGS burgers are Gourmet. That means new and exotic tastes and ingredients, variety, and flavour. The days of pre-cooked, plastic tasting, mass produced burgers are at an end. BERGS burgers are prepared entirely from scratch, in-house. We make all our own patties, sauces, and marinades from secret recipes created by us and inspired by our experiences and travels around Asia and Australia. And of course your food is fresh; prepared and cooked in front of you in our open kitchen.
Asian inspired flavours liberally pepper our menu. The likes of mango chutney, chilli ginger and coriander can be found in more than a few recipes while Garam Masala makes an appearance in the Lamb burger (known as the ‘Marrakech’). We even include beetroot in our BFB burger, a surprising new element for many, while an old favourite for any Australian.
Other highlights on our menu include the Alamack – a fish burger with a name inspired by a common Malay phrase, the Budgie Smuggler – a chicken pattie burger with hints of sweet chilli and orange honey, and for vegetarians, the Krakatoa and the Good Falla. The former is a tofu burger with liberal lashings of peanut (satay) sauce and coriander to pique the taste-buds of tofu lovers while the falafel filled Good Falla evokes exotic tastes with avocado, lemon yoghurt and aioli making it a protein enriched answer for weary workabees.
