Founded in 1977 by Joel Dean, Giorgio DeLuca and Jack Ceglic with the opening of its flagship store in SoHo, New York, Dean & DeLuca has grown into a multi‐channel retailer of gourmet foods, wines and kitchenware with operations throughout the United States and abroad.
Gourmet enthusiasts in Singapore can now excite their senses with an international array of artisanal products and F&B offerings at three of its outlets islandwide. The flagship store at Orchard Central opened its doors to the public in June 2012. With a seating capacity of 86 seats, the outlet occupies around 4000 sq ft of space on Level 4 of Orchard Central. In December 2013, Dean and DeLuca opened its second outlet at Far East Square, a unique enclave in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District. Executives and foodies alike can experience the New York SoHo chic in the 55 seater café, which occupies both indoors and outdoors alfresco. In September 2014, the third Dean & DeLuca outlet was opened at HillV2, nestled in a quaint neighbourhood at Upper Bukit Timah. Spanning over 2004 sq ft, the same offerings are also available at the 60 seater café. Most recently in 2015, Dean & DeLuca was nominated as a finalist for the prestigious World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence “Gourmet Retailer of the Year”.
